I always say that it’s our responsibility to send happier healthier humans home. We are not just leaders of business, we are impacting whole families, whole communities, whole societies. All our actions have a ripple effect.
That’s why I am passionate about the upcoming generation, because they have the ability to change the narrative, and it starts at school, before they even enter the workforce. My guests today are leading the charge of preparing students for the challenges they will face as they enter the workforce.
Amy and Jazmine lead Schools That Can, a national not-for-profit network of K-12 schools in multiple cities, focused on providing culturally-relevant career readiness programming that helps schools meet student needs. It was a pleasure to unpack their passions in this episode.
Their transformational work can be felt for generations, even though they might not see the immediate impact, which I found to be inspiring. Not all of our work will produce immediate gains, and more often than not, it’s the most important work we could be doing. What are you doing to create lasting change?
Join us for a great discussion of the ways we can positively influence the lives of our youth to shape a greater future for them and a more inclusive workplace.
