OK to Get It Wrong with Goodr

Or wherever you get your podcasts

This podcast episode is coming to you live from the Workhuman LIVE - the world’s most transformative HR conference in Atlanta, GA!

When you decide to run a marathon, you are signing up for hours of training, early morning and/or late night runs, a change in eating habits…all for a 4 hour block of time 6 months down the road. This is how Goodr defines FUN.

Goodr is not just about creating fun, fashionable, and functional sunglasses that everyone can afford, they believe that people who feel fully connected to an organization will bring themselves fully to work.

I thoroughly enjoyed my chat with Nicole and Stephen where we explored the many people strategies they leverage, from presenting FLOCK UP awards to let employees know it’s ok to get it wrong, to implementing core values by introducing a slew of fun words that they use to define and shape behaviors …all with the intent of bringing joy back to work.

Goodr is a great example of what I hope to achieve with my clients, I always say that my business is to work myself out of a job. I want to bake culture into the bones and the tissue of the organization, so much so that we create a self-sustaining people strategy that employees love.

Nicole leaves us with a powerful reminder: “Do the work for your people. It is A LOT of work, but it is worth it.”
