Or wherever you get your podcasts

It takes an incredible amount of courage to change your mindset, and even more to advocate for change. More often than not, people are in favor of change, but never arrive at the point of acting on it…Dax is on a mission to make it possible.

Dax-Devlon Ross is our guest on today’s episode and his courage is on display in his new book, Letters to My White Male Friends, in which he gives us a glimpse into the window of his experience as a Black male and helping his white colleagues realize that simply not being racist isn’t enough to end racism.

Dax promises to help men who have said they are committed to change and to develop the capacity to see, feel and sustain that commitment so they can help secure racial justice for us all.

He is the author of six books, and his journalism has been featured in Time, The Guardian, The New York Times, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Washington Post Magazine, and other national publications.

He won the National Association of Black Journalists’ Investigative Reporting Award for his coverage of jury exclusion in North Carolina courts and is currently a Puffin Fellow at Type Media Center.

Tune in for helpful and introspective tips to remove racism and bias from the workplace from an empathetic lens chocked full of love and intention. This is not one that you want to miss.
