Transformative Leadership with Paul Bellows

Or wherever you get your podcasts

Being a leader is a tough job…and often comes with little support or training.

Managers play essential roles in designing and instigating a better employee experience because they are on the front line interacting with employees daily. If we want our EXD initiatives to break through, we must create better support for our front line managers.

That’s why I love this conversation with Paul, my guest on today’s podcast all the way from Canada, who has spent decades focusing on transformation and systems thinking. When asked about how to transform the leadership function, he digs right in with what has worked in the past and what the future of leadership training holds.

We also jump into a discussion about government and how (when it is functioning properly) it is supposed to help remove bigger barriers so employees can get their work done.

I appreciated his take on the often false perception of “loud leaders” getting work done forcibly vs. the quiet power of thoughtful, intentional leaders. Being a performative introvert, I can relate fully!

Be sure to connect with Paul on his timely insights.
